Major League Hunts offers professionally guided Canada goose hunts on private agricultural fields across Colorado’s Front Range and Eastern Plains.
Our hunts are built around preparation and current bird activity. Throughout the season, we monitor feeding patterns, migration, weather, and hunting pressure, then adjust field locations, concealment, calling, and decoy spreads to match changing conditions.
That flexibility allows us to focus each hunt on where geese are actually moving rather than relying on the same field or setup all season.

Colorado: A Premier Goose Hunting Destination
Colorado’s Front Range and Eastern Plains provide excellent winter habitat for migrating Canada geese.
As northern temperatures drop and food sources diminish, migrating geese move south into Colorado. Early-season migrations often bring smaller Canada geese, commonly known as Lessers, followed later by larger Greater Canada geese.
Abundant agricultural fields provide dependable food sources, while reservoirs and other open water offer secure resting and roosting areas. This combination makes northeastern Colorado a prime destination for guided Canada goose hunting.
How We Hunt
We don’t rely on one field or one setup throughout the season.
Our guides monitor current bird activity and choose locations based on where geese are feeding and how they are using the area at that time.
Depending on conditions, we may adjust field locations, concealment, calling strategies, and decoy spreads that typically include 500 or more decoys.
We stay informed. We secure the access. We build the plan. Then we work together to make the hunt happen.
What to Expect
Major League Hunts handles the scouting, private-property access, hunt planning, blinds, decoys, and equipment needed for the setup.
Because successful field goose hunting often requires large decoy spreads, hunters should expect to help set and pick up decoys before and after the hunt. It’s part of the field-hunting experience and helps us efficiently deploy the large spreads these hunts require.
Guided goose hunts begin at first light and end at noon, unless otherwise noted.
Before arriving, hunters should also be prepared with their personal hunting equipment, appropriate clothing, ammunition, and all required Colorado and federal licenses and stamps.
Since goose movement changes with weather, food sources, and hunting pressure, the exact location and setup may vary from one hunt to the next. However, our goal remains the same: put you in a quality hunting situation and provide an enjoyable day in the field.
